Chris Roberts was that extra pair of eyes and ears on my sci-fi thriller ORIGINAL SIN, and his contributions were invaluable to my (re)writing process.
Chris possesses a keen understanding of story structure and he knows how to apply that understanding to the context at hand. Chris’s notes were clear, concise, well organized, and always conveyed enthusiasm for the material - even when being critical.
Clearly, he loves the art of storytelling and respects the process. I always felt Chris represented a fair and savvy audience. He demands rich and entertaining characters and has great instincts when it comes to identifying things like lazy habits and inauthentic dialogue. His notes always inspired me to write better - what more could you ask for in a story editor!
